I tested all 10 lights before installing them on my trailer and all worked. I used a mount from one of the existing incandescent lights to drill holes in the plastic mounting plate to match the screw and wire holes already in the trailer. I then soldered the ground wire to circle connector and used one of the mounting screws as ground, and soldered the positive wire red to power from the trailer harness, and sealed the solder joint with heat shrink. The lights look good and appear to be water-tight.

I replaced all the old incandescent lighting on my trailer with these, and they are great! I just pop-riveted them on and attached the negative/ground wire and a generous dab of dielectric grease under one of the rivets on each light. I like them so much, I bought a second set to replace all the running lights on the converted school bus we use to tow the trailer.
