Very easy to install and LED are bright.

I bought my utility trailer 3 years ago, it had the standard cheapy incandescent taillights on it. When a bulb blew I tried to replace it. I discovered that the bulb socket was rusted. After I cleaning it and replaced the bulb, the light no longer worked correctly so I decided on these new LED taillights. I cut the wires on the trailer and spliced them to the new LED taillights. They worked perfectly and are water proof too. They are bright and very easy to install. I didn't have to rewire the whole trailer. I just spliced them onto the existing trailer wiring. I'm very pleased with the results. I also bought them on sale for just $16. Can't beat the value!

Nice lights to upgrade or to add to a new trailer, they looks dull during the daytime but at night they are plenty bright enough.

I have took my trailer on 4 trips with these lights installed and 2 of the trips were down bumpy back roads and they still work great and are very bright. If your switching over from the old style you'll have a extra wire (the white one) that's the ground wire I grounded it to one of the studs on the tail light

Others are claiming there are no instructions but my box included them, see photos.Wire colors are standard trailer 4-wire -White is Gnd -Brown is Driving Lights and left side down light for license plate -Yellow is brake / left turn signal -Green is brake / right turn signalI've included photos of the included install diagram sheet and the install. Are very bright and work great.Are installed on a light duty utility trailer so won't comment on their under water performance.

I bought a trailer hitch cargo rack for family trips. I wanted the cargo rack to be highly visible. I bought these lights for that purpose, and they exceeded all expectations. See my photos. I don't know why all of the grossing about not including wiring instructions. You don't normally use these without also buying a wiring harness which, more often than not, comes with wiring instructions. I initially wired these with the wiring harness, attempting to ground them directly to the cargo rack. This did not suffice as the lights were nowhere near as bright as they should have been. I resolved that problem by installing a separate wire specifically for the tail lights, and after grounding the wire to the vehicle, the lights worked and were as bright as expected. These will not be submerged, but I ran a bead of clear caulk around the seams in the light housing to reduce the risk of moisture getting inside. I can't comment on the water residence because I don't intend to submerge them. But I also don't want to lower the rating on what is otherwise a great product. I gave that category 5 stars. I am a satisfied customer!

I was a bit concerned when I bought these as they were so inexpensive and I did read a few bad reviews. Mine bolted right up to the existing trailer light brackets. I did have to drill a center hole in the brackets for the wires to pass thru as my old light wires came out of the bottom of the lights. These were a piece of cake to wire up. Yellow to yellow, brown to brown and green to green. I put round terminal ends on the white ground wires. I then sanded to clean metal a spot on my trailer light brackets where one of the mounting bolts passed thru. I placed the eyelet over the bolt, then put on and tightened down the nut and all worked as it should. I not driven with them yet or launched my boat but will update this review if anything changes. So far, I could not be happier.

As of right now I giving these lights 5 stars. They are bright. I did follow the wiring instructions of another reviewer to get these wired up correctly. Look at how bright the license plate light. I have LED taillights on my vehicle and these are just as bright if not brighter. It has been pouring down rain for 2 days and no issues with water in the lights. If I develop any issues I update my review. So far for the price I am extremely satisfied with these lights.

Replace the old blub lights that came on my trailer the new light are much better and will last a long time they are sealed and water proof. They have their own ground wire i ran a ground wire all the way to my plug an remove the ground from the body of the trailer. Let me make it clear I contacted both ground from each light to the ground wire on the plug. I am a retired electric so I soder all splices and put all wire in conduit I do not believe I will . ever have any problems with theses light well built !!!3/29/2019 Update I have used my trailer for about 3 weeks straight every day and night . Was pulling it empty so that when the trailer will do a lot of extra bouncing the trip have been 100 miles one was and loaded 100 miles back I have seen that the driver behind me seem to keep extra space from the tail of my trailer less tailgating at night. I believe it because the led lights are a lot crisp and bright and the people seem to pay closer attention I have found it easier to change lanes . We am Very please with these trailer lights so far . I am thinking about installing one in center of my ramp just as a third stop light . Because I seen a set on a trailer and the person had one as the 3rd stop lights and in the day in traffic I was very impressed how well in bump traffic that third light stuck out so well I believe it would be a excellent way to help driver pay attention because my trailer is a open trailer I can move 4800 lb on it we had it built to move a big ditch witch cable underground so when it was loaded you could see it but unlocked. I looked up at stop lights and had to take the ditch to prevent be hit because the driver did not see me. Just thought I would add for anyone having same problem. Because the lights show up so well in the day. As always I hope this helps at least one person or provents a accident. Then it worth every word and the time it has taken to write. To me reviews help me so much make a better buying decision. So if your not a review writer please try to help others.

great replacement when added with the backup lights I also got. Very bright

Not sure if they changed the lights but I did not have any of the issues ppl are reviewing, my screws are perfect even with the tag holder no issues with cables either so they might have fixed them, lights are really bright so lets see if they hold

This is the bad light that we talked about on the phone. I have verified 12 volts and a good ground. The other light works good. Can you please send a new replacement light. I appreciate your great customer service. Thank you
