Partsam Wireless Magnetic Towing Trailer Tail Light Kit

The first time I used these lights towing behind the motorhome they worked fine for 30 minutes then both shut off by themselves leaving me with no tail lights. Although it is pass the return time it is the first time using them. Why would they be shutting off? Is it a defect? Just looking for answers or replacements if they are bad. Got through Amazon. Great lights when working but had to give one star because of issue.

The trailer lights are great, much more sturdy than any other brand I considered. They worked perfectly the first time I tried them. Included are steel mounts if you want them on something other than a metal trailer. They're a unique design that holds them very tightly.

When i saw this wireless trailer light set i grabbed it without thinking, i mean come on, no wires!, how can you beat that? recently I lost the lights on my utility trailer and this wireless set is a perfect fit for what i need since i do not want to rewire lights again, easy set up on my towing plug and i was ready to be on the road, and because they are on magnets i can use them on any trailer like in my case i have 2 different ones.

I love these lights and the confidence it gives me when moving between trailers. Living on a farm, I use trailer fairly often, but I do not always own the trailer I need. I have a few friends that let each other use the different trailers so we do not all have to buy every single type. Sadly, I can not count how many times I have had to fix lights on someone else trailer And multiple times on the same trailer. After completing rewiring a stock trailer a few months ago, I went to use it again and found the last time a pig was hauled in it, it managed to get ahold of wiring for one of the lights putting it out of commission. Thankfully, it was a quick fix, but still when short on time, I needed a better route for next time. That is when I found these lights. They will not make all trailers street legal, but they will certainly improve safety. I have two 7-pin connectors in my truck bed for the gooseneck and bumper, so I can plug this in one and still use the other for the trailer so I have brakes and other lights that may still be functional. The magnets are surprisingly strong, and I think will hold up to any of my towing even on bumpy roads. It was as easy as plugging in the wireless adapter, turning the lights on, validating I had left and right on the correct side, and going. I could not be happier. I tested them out on my 32 feet flatbed and it had no problems with the wireless signal at that range, which is the longest trailer I haul. I showed them to a few friends, and one ordered a set for her husband as a Christmas gift on the spot. I just like the flexibility it gives me to have a rechargeable light to use in pinch.

My trailers (boats, covered, and utility) sometimes sit for months between uses, then I need to use one and find out the lights are out, usually due to corrosion, broken wires, defective bulb/led etc. When I need to use one, I need to use it, without spending too much time troubleshooting or getting parts. I tested this on my 30 feet aluminum trailer, not enough steel on the brackets to use the magnet. So I used some zip ties - they worked perfectly. This box will stay in my truck to use as needed , much safer to have working lights and better than a ticket.

The suction could be a little bit better but for the money it's worth it.Really good for the money.

Several times last year I went to tow something but the taillight wires on the trailer and camper I was going to tow were not working. So this left me in a position that would not allow me to legally tow it. This kit is exactly what I was needing. The magnets are more than strong enough to hold on any metal object without falling off, and if you wanted added security you could always add a few zip ties. The build quality is seriously strong, and you can run up to 10 hours on one charge. The lights are fully waterproof, and use of these items is straightforward. The storage case is a very nice bonus and holds all of the components together in one place. Better than described and I highly recommend.

Overall: This is a great and very convenient tail light kit. The wireless feature is so handy and the range is way more than you will need. The lights look sharp and the case is awesome for storing it in. This kit is definitely something to keep in the truck handy. The lights are bright and look good. A cool feature if you hold down the power button is you can turn on a light on the bottom of either light which doubles as your tag light if needed - otherwise just leave that off. They find the receiver quick as you can turn them on. I actually had to pull on the magnets a lot more to get them off than some of the previous wired sets I own so they are not going to fall off anything easily. The charging wire is split so you can charge both lights at once. Finally the range is just insane. I tried to upload a few videos but could only upload one, but you can see the range is more than you would ever use on a trailer - it was probably 50 or 60 feet away and still worked perfectly. (It is hooked to the truck in the video just in case you can not tell). Pros: Case is handy, lights look and work great, magnets are powerful, charge and power indicator on the lights at the bottom (the blue circled in a picture), they are waterproof, and take only 3 hours to fully charge. Cons: The manufacturer says the lights work only 10 hours on a charge - that would be a long haul but maybe you are towing cross country. The six pin connector outputs to a standard four pin trailer connector, so if you have a trailer with brakes this will not work unless you happen to have two six pins wired up (which I do and had no problem with both hooked up). The only other small problem is I did not see a left or right marker on the lights themselves, but you can figure that out quick with one blinker. Recommendation: If you are not towing something on very long distances with trailer brakes these are great to have. If you have two six pin trailer connectors then you can use them in addition to. They are definitely going in my truck and would be a good addition to yours.
