The foam tape bases are used to adhere to the back of the marker lights or to the surface to which the amber light is to be mounted, for waterproofing. Also you can use a little strong adhesive to be sure;

2.These small thin clearance lights needs to be hooked up to a 12v power source. Flux: 600Lumens (about 20 Lumens per lamp); less than 1 Watt per light; Light Size: 75mm x 20mm x 5mm (2.95" x 0.8" x 0.2"), Light Size with Black Base: 96mm x 20mm x 10mm (3.8" x 0.8" x 0.4") and center to center distance: 3-5/16" approx.; The wire length is about 6~7 inch, and you can put them in series with speaker wire to make them longer;

4.The indicator light is hardwired with 2 wires and can be used as constant on trailer lights: black is negative and the yellow wire is positive; These lights don't come with the on/off switch and Wire leads come out the back in the center so you must drill a hole in the mounting surface for them; As every truck lamp come with two wires, they can only use as one function a time;

5.Tips and Warranty: 1. These led lights are not dimmable; 2. These lights can not be set up to flash as strobes, of course, you can wire to a toggle (on/off) switch to make it come true; 3.
